Islamabad Society Checker — CDA’s Own Answer
Every scheme on CDA’s two public lists, searchable in one box — with the enforcement notices CDA attaches to the same page, and what each status actually means.
Type any Islamabad housing scheme below and you get CDA’s own answer — its layout-plan status, its NOC status, the zone, the area, and, where we have read one, the enforcement notice CDA has attached to that scheme’s own page. All 70 registered private schemes and all 98 schemes CDA calls illegal are here, in CDA’s own spellings.
The number that should change how you use the phrase “CDA approved”. Of the 70 schemes on CDA’s registered list, only 29 carry an NOC recorded as issued. 32 show “Not Issued” and 6 show “Cancelled”. Being on the register is not the same as being approved — and a dealer saying “we are in CDA’s list” may be telling you the truth about a scheme whose NOC was cancelled.
And the thing the badges cannot tell you at all. On 2 September 2026 we opened all seventy scheme pages, one at a time. 36 of the 70 have at least one enforcement notice attached by CDA — and 16 of those show an NOC badge reading “Issued” at the same time. How to read what you just found
- “Approved” + “Issued” — the scheme has an approved layout plan and an NOC on record. It is a scheme-level, point-in-time status. It does not say your specific plot is inside the approved plan, and it does not say the scheme is compliant today.
- “Approved” + “Not Issued” — there is a plan but no certificate. 32 of the 70 registered schemes sit here. Ask what is outstanding and for how long.
- Anything “Cancelled” — approval was granted and then withdrawn. Treat any purchase as litigation until proven otherwise.
- Not on either list at all? For a private scheme that is a red flag. For FGEHA sectors (G-13, G-14, G-15), DHA phases, or CDA’s own sectors (F-15, I-8), absence is correct — a different authority governs them. See the FGEHA sectors and DHA Islamabad.

Nearly half of every scheme CDA calls illegal in the whole of Islamabad sits on one eastern corridor. If land is being offered to you out there at a price that seems impossible, read the corridor page first.
Then do these three things
- Open the scheme’s own page on CDA’s register and scroll past the badge to the attachments. That is where the notices live.
- Ask the seller for the approved layout plan and the current, revised NOC by date — CDA’s 20 August 2026 directive requires schemes to display exactly that at the booking office.
- Find your specific plot on that plan before any token. Amenity conversions and out-of-plan parcels are invisible from the street and visible on the plan. Our five checks are the rest of it.

Using CDA’s own record
Search its name in the tool on this page — it carries all 70 schemes on CDA's registered list and all 101 CDA calls illegal, with the layout-plan and NOC status CDA itself publishes. Then open that scheme's own page on cda.gov.pk and scroll past the badge to the attached PDFs, because that is where CDA puts its enforcement notices. Both steps take about two minutes and cost nothing.
No, and this is the most expensive misunderstanding in the market. Of the 70 schemes on CDA's registered list, only 29 have an NOC recorded as issued. 32 show 'Not Issued' and 6 show 'Cancelled'. A seller saying 'we are on CDA's list' can be telling the truth about a scheme whose NOC was cancelled.
It depends what kind of scheme it is. FGEHA sectors such as G-13, G-14 and G-15, DHA's phases, and CDA's own sectors like F-15 or I-8 are all legitimately absent, because CDA's private-scheme LOP and NOC regime does not govern them — a different authority does. For a privately sponsored housing scheme, though, absence from both lists is a question worth answering before you pay anyone.
Yes, and we have read six examples. The badge is a scheme-level status; CDA attaches its enforcement notices as PDFs to the same page. Bahria Enclave, Naval Anchorage, Zaraj and Multi Gardens (B-17) all carry a clean or partly clean badge alongside a live show-cause notice.
