Status, as we last verified it: not open. CDA’s Park Road underpass beside DHA Margalla Enclave missed its 30 July 2026 opening target. The most recent dated report we have, 24 August 2026, says the directional boards are up and the approach loops for Margalla Enclave are built, and that CDA has announced no new completion date. We update this page when a dated source says otherwise — not before.

What the underpass is

A grade-separated crossing on Park Road at the Margalla Enclave approach, built by CDA to take the Park Road through-traffic under the junction and give DHA Margalla Enclave residents dedicated loops on both sides, with a route toward Rawal Chowk. Park Road is also the working route from Blue Area and the F-sectors to Bahria Enclave and Park View City, which is why an unfinished underpass shows up in everyone’s drive time, not only Margalla Enclave’s.

What it changes for the drive

  • Until it opens: budget for diversions at the site at peak hours. Our distance guide quotes off-peak times for that reason.
  • When it opens: the Park Road approach to the whole Zone IV corridor — Margalla Enclave, Park View City, Bahria Enclave — loses its worst junction. It does not change where any of them are; the Margalla Enclave map and the Bahria Enclave location page hold the coordinates.
  • For the ballot: nothing. The underpass is CDA road-works; the 3rd ballot runs on DHA’s timetable.
Questions

Straight answers

Not as of our last dated source, 24 August 2026: boards installed, loops built, no new completion date from CDA after the 30 July 2026 target passed. We change this answer only when a dated report says it has opened.

Park Road, at the Margalla Enclave approach with a route toward Rawal Chowk. The Jinnah Avenue / Kuri Road widening is a separate CDA corridor project serving the same belt.

It affects access, which is one input into prices, and DHA's own marketing leans on it. We do not attribute a price move to it; the payment plan and ballot pages carry DHA's official prices, dated.
