Short answer: Use 44000. Pakistan Post's own directory has no Bahria Enclave line and no 44028; nearest named delivery office is Kuri, Islamabad 45570. Address format too.
Direct line: Muhammad Hasnain, plot specialist for Bahria Enclave & DHA Margalla Enclave — WhatsApp 0300 0399322. Verified before you pay; drawbacks in writing.
The practical answer first: write “Bahria Enclave, Park Road,
Islamabad 44000” and your parcel arrives. Every courier and every online form accepts it.
The interesting answer is what Pakistan Post’s own directory actually says — because we went and
read it, and it does not say what this niche repeats.
What Pakistan Post’s own directory says
Pakistan Post publishes a national Post Code Directory of Delivery Post Offices — a 45-page
PDF listing every delivery office in the country with its code and its account office. We pulled it on
2 September 2026 and searched the full text.
- There is no “Bahria Enclave” line in it. Not under Islamabad, not anywhere.
The society has no post code of its own, and no delivery office is named for it.
- The nearest named delivery office to this corridor is “KURI, ISLAMABAD” —
post code 45570, account office Islamabad GPO, Federal Capital. Kuri is the government-recognised
locality name for exactly this belt: the neighbouring DHA Margalla Enclave’s own environmental filing
places that project in Mouza Kuri and Rehara, the same Park Road / Jinnah Avenue land.
- Islamabad is not a flat “everything is 44000” system. The same directory
gives F-7 Markaz 44210, F-8 Markaz 44220, DHA Phase-II 45730, Model Town Humak 45700 and Sihala 45750. Codes
do go down to named sub-localities — there simply is not one for Bahria Enclave yet.
A correction to our own page, 2 September 2026. Until today this
page repeated the widely-published claim that 44028 is the code for the Chak Shahzad delivery area the
society falls under. “44028” does not appear anywhere in Pakistan Post’s own national
directory — zero hits across all 45 pages. We could not trace it to any primary source, so we have
withdrawn it rather than keep repeating it. If it works in a courier’s system, that is the
courier’s internal database, not a Pakistan Post code. We would rather correct ourselves in public than
quietly edit a number out.
So which one do you write?
- Everyday post, couriers, bank and NADRA forms: 44000. It is Islamabad GPO’s base
code, it is universally accepted, and nothing about the directory changes that.
- If a form rejects 44000 — rare, but it happens on systems that validate against a
delivery-office list — 45570 (Kuri, Islamabad) is the sourced alternative, and now you
know where it comes from.
- Format that actually gets the parcel there: House/Plot number, Street number, Sector
letter, Bahria Enclave, Park Road, Islamabad 44000. The sector letter does more work than the code
— riders navigate by sector and street. Put a working phone number on every parcel; in Pakistan the
rider’s call is the real last-mile protocol.
One warning while we are here
Bahria Town Rawalpindi is a different city with different codes. Address templates copied
from Bahria Town listings (Rawalpindi 46000-series codes) will route your mail to the wrong district. If the
address says Islamabad, the code starts 44 or 45 — the same mix-up that costs plot buyers money
(the full Bahria-vs-Bahria guide) also misroutes their
parcels.
Moving in, not just mailing in? The daily-life version of this page —
schools, gas, water, couriers, the zoo — is Living in Bahria
Enclave. And if the address you are writing is on a purchase agreement, make sure the plot behind it passes
the five checks first.
